Oakfield (Easton Maudit) Ltd is a small rural charity that provides high quality care and support for 30 people with learning, physical disabilities and autism. It has two homes one of which has currently 10 self-containing flats and two more flats being built (hence this recruitment).
Have a positive outlook on life and a passion to care and support others
Be creative and resourceful and able to think outside of the ‘box’
Ability to relate well and work with those who we support and colleagues
Provide high quality of care and supportContribute positively to a strong support staff team
Always have and maintain high professional standards
Hold a recognised Health and Care qualification or be prepared to work towards relevant qualification
Be able to work to a rota including alternate weekends and Bank holidays
Hold a valid UK driving license preferable
Work as part of a team to provide a caring, supportive and stimulating environment for people we support
Enable individuals to fulfil their potential and engage with all elements of home life as they are able
Encourage and support those who we work with to engage in a wide variety of activities.
Maintain and develop the independence and choice for the people we support
Assisting people, we support getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication.
