There are currently 10 flats, with plans to develop a further 2 early in the New Year 2025. Four of the current 10 flats are on the ground floor, 3 are suitable for use by a wheelchair user.

Each flat is equipped with full ensuite bathroom facilities, a fridge-freezer, induction hob, built in oven, washing machine, kitchen sink and storage. Additional equipment will be provided based on individual needs.

The accommodation is fully centrally heated with each flat having its own thermostatic control for each person’s comfort. The temperature of hot water is controlled at a safe temperature at source. Fire detectors are fitted in all flats and communal areas.

The rural location means that most rooms at Oakfield enjoy outlooks over countryside or gardens. 

If required, the tenant is able to purchase an evening meal. Tenants can choose whether to eat in their flats or in the bistro dining room.

Menus are designed to be well balanced, healthy, and highly nutritional. Cultural and special dietary needs are catered for. For those individuals who need assistance at mealtimes, staff will be on hand to provide this support in a discrete and sensitive manner.
